New Year, New You?
Hit me with your goals.Last year, New Year's Day, I made a list of 'resolutions' and I'm quite sure I didn't keep many of them. #failWell, let me back up. I kept a few, such as have a baby and make healthier choices during pregnancy.Check and check! Then there were others that I didn't keep.-In an effort to feel more comfortable with me, in my current state, I vowed to, and this isn't a joke, take more selfies. If you've seen my Instagram (@megohkay) or my snapchat (@meg_k731) you'll notice that... I majorly failed at that one. Honestly, finding a photo of me was so difficult that we just put the kids on the Christmas cards instead. They're cuter anyway. -Organize the house. As you read in yesterday's blog, I suppose I have one more day to get this done this year. If we're being serious- nice roll, no Yahtzee. Not. Going. To. Happen.I'm sure there are others but I'll just reword them and make them into goals for this new year. Recycling, right? So, this year instead of resolutions I'll be creating a series of manageable goals that I can add to my get-it-done list. Some of them will include:-working on my weight (aren't we always?)-Continuing starting to declutter/organize. Do you have any tips for this one?-Making more meals at home. I can cook too, despite my husband being the pro.-Stepping out of my box a bit more... for very brief periods, but hey, it's a start.-Wearing real pants. Sorry yoga pants, you've got to go...sometimes.-and overall working on a happier, healthier me for myself and my family.I want to wish all of you a very happy new year and I hope you're able to achieve something that makes you happy in the next 365 days!Be Great,M
