What a Surprise!
So, you'll never guess. My password for this blog STILL WORKS!
Amazing, right? I'm as surprised as you probably are.
BUT...
Here I am to share a few quick life updates about the #KernsPartyof5 and make a new promise (that I'll probably break) along the lines of "I'm going to write more regularly!!" (If you want to hold me accountable and poke me when you DON'T see new things from me, I'm all about that!) Also, you'll notice that I have included the kiddos names in the post below. Between my socials, the podcast, and everything else going on, it seems only fitting that we include them here as well! So I introduce you (officially) to Ryder, Addy & Knox!
So without further ado- here we go!
Phil: He's kickin' absolute tail at his 9-5 and still finds time to come home to make dinner AND play with the kids before 7:30 pm. He's still into cooking (ask about his new rubs/sauces), loves that the Washington Nationals won the World Series, and is looking forward to a time when Knox doesn't leave every painful toy underfoot in the kitchen. 😆
Ryder: Our big guy is ALMOST 6! He's in Kindergarten and is loving it. He's progressing quickly in Taekwondo, making some really good friends in and out of school, reading, and taking on more responsibility in the family. (Where did my little guy go?!)
Addy: Our almost-4-year-old is a TALKER, and a singer, and a theatric, and, and, and. She's loving dancing AND pre-school with her best friends, all 8 of them. She's kind and affectionate and an absolute hurricane and each and every moment. She likes being a big-girl and helping with anything she can get her hands on (with or without permission). 😇
Knox: Or more affectionally known as "Knoxy" is walking and almost talking. He spends a lot of time letting his big brother and sister talk for him (and why wouldn't he). He's also perfected the tantrum-throwing and loves to giggle and laugh. He's also a double-fisted-kid (watch out college) and he's got to have a snack, any snack, in each hand more often than not.
Meg: I'm full time into MOKup Media, producing our podcast "Life, Marriage, and a Baby Carriage" (give it a listen), Mommin' and makin' new friends. I'm working on a few side projects while I work the business as well. It's never dull around here, is it?
I'll probably spend some time sharing the podcast episodes in the next few posts to get you all caught up as most of our stories have been told over there. If you have other ideas for what you'd like me (or us) to cover, don't hesitate to leave us a comment (or send me a DM).
I hope YOU have been holdin' down the fort and enjoy all that life has brought you lately!
Stay Great,
